Hey! We’re looking to hire a junior developer in an entry-level, contract position for 8-10 hours per week. If you have some experience with HTML, CSS, PHP or Javascript or experience with working in WordPress and have a desire to dive a little deeper, this could be a great opportunity to get paid to learn!
Being a remote position, we’re looking for someone that is fun, friendly, and helpful while being an energetic learner. We’ll provide direct training and access to resources. We’ll then start you off with a few curated projects and tasks to help you in honing your skills.
Must Haves
- A computer (Mac preferred)
- Comfortability with communicating via Slack. GIFs and memes always appreciated
- Open / often communications on progress, struggles, and concerns
Would be nice
- Experience / Familiarity with any of the following
- WordPress
- PHP
- HTML
- CSS (Sass)
- JS (vanilla, jQuery, Vue.js)
- Git
Responsibilities
- Converting Figma mockups into simple client projects using our developed frameworks and workflows
- Handling development related tasks / iterations on existing projects
- Finding a focus. As you learn, we would love for you to find your place in this development world. Whether front-end, backend, application development - we’d love for you to find your niche and help you hone those skills and pushing that direction.
